Betsy Zahniser, Early Childhood Music Specialist, Workshop Presenter

Betsy has taught singing with children and teachers in preschool, elementary school, and Sunday school for over 20 years. She has been the music specialist at the Wellesley Nursery School in the Hills, Wellesley, MA since 1990. In 2006, she compiled and published the best of the fingerplays, songs, and musical games that she has collected for preschool children. The Music Box has been enthusiastically received by early childhood educators and children's librarians, to enhance their repertoire of rhymes and music for young children (see Reviews). Betsy has conducted numerous teacher training workshops at preschools, day care centers, and conferences. She is a member of the Children’s Music Network (CMN), the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association (ECMMA), and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
